Milwaukee's Pfister Hotel to illuminate the holiday season with tree lighting event
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Pfister Hotel is set to brighten the holiday season with its annual tree lighting ceremony. Scheduled for Friday, Nov. 24 at 5 p.m., the lighting aims to infuse the iconic hotel lobby with festive cheer.
The Pfister, renowned for its grandeur and historical significance, will transform into a yuletide haven, welcoming guests and the community to witness the lighting of its magnificent lobby tree.
The ceremony, a hallmark of Milwaukee's holiday events, will see Santa Claus arriving in a Milwaukee Fire Department fire truck. Guests will be treated to the warmth of seasonal beverages and the delight of holiday treats, all while soaking in the atmosphere of sparkling lights and holiday decor.
The Pfister will partner with the Hunger Task Force to support those in need, asking those who attend to bring non-perishable food items as part of a food drive.
In addition to the main event, the Pfister Hotel is also offering an opportunity for children to write letters to Santa Claus, starting from Nov. 24 through Dec. 17. Children who participate will not only have their letters delivered to the big man at the North Pole but will also receive a personalized response from Santa himself, along with a complimentary cookie from the Pfister front desk.
