Update as of 8:15 a.m. Saturday, September 28th...
Just one change from Friday's forecast. Conditions on Lake Michigan will stay rough practically all weekend long with higher wind and waves. Please stay off the water. The Beach Hazards Statement along with the Small Craft Advisory will continue through much of Sunday. Otherwise, the forecast remains the same. Dry conditions and mild temps into next week.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Beside some cloud cover and a few spotty showers, what's left of Hurricane Helene will stay mainly to our south. It's advised to stay off Lake Michigan through at least Saturday because of high wind and waves. It's a high swim risk along with a Small Craft Advisory. Waves could top six feet!
Otherwise, I don't see any major weather concerns through next week. A cold front will drop temperatures into the 60s for highs by midweek thanks to a cold front. So a bit cooler as we start October on Tuesday. But keep in mind an average high this time of year is only in the upper 60s...
