MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) – While the Green Bay Packers are gearing up for the NFC Championship game, so are businesses. The team’s success means big business for some in the area.

“We were here Saturday, Sunday and early this morning taking care of customers calling in,” says Sue Bruno, one of three owners of the Cheesehead Factory.

It's all hands on deck at the Cheesehead Factory. The three owners say this weekend’s win really helped kick things off, but they’ve been busy since the Packers' first win of the season.

“We’re hoping for the playoff run we have right now so we have lot of increasing staff size and stocking up on supplies,” says Ralph Bruno, one of the owners of the Cheesehead Factory.

They ship and sell to all 50 states and more then 30 countries.

“There’s a strong cheesehead fan base in the U.K, Germany especially for some reason,” says Ralph.

“Beer and cheese must be the explanation,” says Meilyn Nelson, one of the owners of the Cheesehead Factory.

“It’s great when we see local teams and just any local event that can help push things up for us,” says Jeff Mielander, owner of Redwall Screen Printing.

Redwall is like the middleman whose customers sell to retailers.

Right now their preorders are between 15,000-20,000 units.

“The orders are coming in,” explains Mielander. “We’re seeing it and we’re starting to prep. We’re getting the work ready, getting staff. Our plan is as soon as they win, we start rolling.”

Both businesses say they’re looking forward to serving Packer backers everywhere.

“When you see someone on TV wearing a top hat that came from this little room, it’s an honor,” says Nelson.

The Cheesehead Factory isn’t currently open for tours, but they do have extended gift shop hours.

They’re also planning a watch party. You can find more information here.
