MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Wind gusts close to 50 mph on Monday will play out again across our area, especially during the afternoon on Tuesday. This is why we have a Wind Advisory in place for the afternoon for most counties except Jefferson, Dodge, and Fond du Lac. Winds should be less on Wednesday. They'll be from the northwest instead of the southwest, so this means a cooler day on Wednesday. Talking about highs in the 30s instead of the 40s. But we quickly rebound on Thursday as winds switch to the southwest again.
In terms of precipitation, we have the chance of rain on Friday and then some wintry mix on Sunday, Groundhog Day. Some really good news for you. 5 p.m. sunsets are on the horizon, starting by midweek. One sure sign warmer weather is coming soon.
