WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Jan. 9, a judge granted Morgan Geyser conditional release. But yesterday, a petition to have that release order revoked was filed. There was a review hearing on Friday, Feb. 28.
Geyser was just 12 years old in May of 2014 when she and Anissa Weier stabbed their 6th grade classmate more than a dozen times, telling police they did it for a fictional character called Slender Man. Geyser is now 22. It was Geyser's fourth petition for early release.
At the hearing today, the judge found probable cause to hold yet another hearing. This one is to consider not allowing Geyser's release. That hearing is scheduled for next Thursday.
Morgan Geyser has tried several times before to win an early release, we may find out next week if she will get it this time.
