Morning residential fire under investigation, 1 person injured

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire that left one person injured.

Officials from MFD tell CBS 58 that the fire took place early Wednesday, Oct. 2 at a residence near 35th and Courtland.

Responders noticed the two residents on the 2nd floor porch when they arrived at the scene, with both being removed and one being treated for minor injuries.

The fire was found and is under control, according to MFD, though the cause remains under investigation.
