Motorcyclist killed after hitting deer in Dodge County, hit by two other vehicles

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) – A motorcyclist has died after hitting a deer and being hit by two other vehicles Wednesday evening, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say the crash happened just before 7:30 p.m. at County Highway P, just north of O’Neill Road in the Township of Ashippun.

It’s believed the motorcycle was headed northbound when it hit the deer, which ejected the rider into traffic. Deputies say the motorcyclist was then hit by a northbound car and a northbound dump truck before being pronounced dead at the scene.

The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating.
