LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man who works at Mount Zion Christian Church School in Lake Geneva is charged with possession of child pornography. 

A statement from the church confirmed 76-year-old Daniel Clement is a part-time school staff member and a church board member. He faces five counts of possession of child pornography.

He made his first court appearance on Wednesday, Sept. 16. 

The Mount Zion statement says Clement has been placed on a leave of absence and is not allowed on the property pending the outcome of the investigation. 

"At this time, there is no indication that any illegal activity occurred on church or school property."
