MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 12-year-old has been taken to a hospital for treatment following a shooting in Milwaukee on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the shooting took place just after noon near the corner of Chambers and Teutonia. The circumstances that led to the shooting are still under investigation with MPD searching for unknown suspects.

No further details have yet been released about the condition of the teenage victim.
