MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened near 27th and Ruby on Saturday, July 24.

Police say a 16-year-old Milwaukee boy was shot from inside a car.

According to police, unknown suspects fired several shots at the car, subsequently striking the boy.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

MPD is seeking unknown suspects.
