MPD: 41-year-old killed in shooting near 23rd and Capitol

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting near 23rd and W. Capitol Drive Monday evening, Sept. 23.
Officials say it happened just before 8 p.m. The 41-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital, but died despite lifesaving measures.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Romell Campbell.
An investigation is ongoing. Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspect(s).
