MPD: 48-year-old pedestrian sustains life-threatening injuries after hit-and-run near 64th and Silver Spring

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 48-year-old pedestrian has been taken to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in Milwaukee, according to police.

Officials say that the crash took place at around 2 a.m. on Thursday, July 11 near 64th and Silver Spring.

A white car was reportedly driving westbound on Silver Spring before striking the pedestrian, after which, the car fled the scene without stopping.

The investigation in ongoing, and the Milwaukee Police Dept. are on the looking for an unknown suspect.
