MPD: 6-year-old injured after gun goes off inside home near 31st and St. Paul

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating after a 6-year-old girl was grazed by a bullet.

Milwaukee Police were called to the area of 31st and St. Paul around 9:30 p.m. on Friday after a gun went off inside of a home, injuring the girl.

Police say this was the result of an "accidental discharge of a firearm inside of a home."

A 19-year-old was taken into custody at the scene.

The case is being reviewed by the DA's Office and formal charges are pending.
