Milwaukee man charged in sexual assault, battery near 50th and Burleigh

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Charges are now filed against a man accused in a sexual assault and armed burglary in Milwaukee on April 19.
Twenty-three-year-old Jayden Johnson of Milwaukee is charged with the following:
- First degree sexual assault (use of a dangerous weapon)
- Armed robbery
- Burglary (armed)
- Battery to an elder person -- intentionally cause bodily harm, use of a dangerous weapon
Prosecutors say Johnson entered a residence near 50th and Burleigh and repeatedly struck an 81-year-old with a handgun before sexually assaulting another victim in the home. The criminal complaint alleges Johnson then demanded money before fleeing the scene.
Officials say Johnson turned himself in on April 30 after police released still images gathered from cameras in the area.
Court records show cash bond has been set at $100,000.
A preliminary hearing is set for May 14.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in a sexual assault and burglary.
The incident happened April 19 near 50th and Burleigh. Police say the suspect sexually assaulted a victim, demanded and obtained property from them.
Police describe the suspect as a Black male, approximately 20-30 years old with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a blue windbreaker-style jacket with a hood, stone-washed torn jeans and black tennis shoes.

According to Milwaukee police, an armed suspect entered a residence, sexually assaulted a victim and then obtained property.
Police are seeking an unknown suspect.
