MPD investigating two separate non-fatal shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee police are investigating two separate non-fatal shootings that occurred in the evening on Sunday, January 17 and into the morning of Monday, January 18.

The first shooting happened around 7:09 p.m. near 29th and Fond du Lac. A 26-year-old man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

The second shooting happened at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, January 18.

Police say the victim was leaving work when the suspects tried to rob him near Palmer and Abert. The 41-year-old was shot several times and taken to a hospital.

Police are looking for suspects in both cases.
