CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee Police Department officer has been charged for sexual assault.
According to a criminal complaint, on Sept. 21, officers were called to The Taproom in South Milwaukee for a report of a problematic, intoxicated person.
That person was MPD Officer Nathan Enk who reportedly grabbed a woman's breasts and said, "just kiss me and then I'll leave you alone." He repeatedly tried to kiss the woman and grope her without her consent, the complaint says.
Enk, who's worked with MPD for more than seven years, has been suspended since the incident. He's charged with one count of fourth degree sexual assault and one count of disorderly conduct.
If convicted, he could face one year behind bars, and an $11,000 fine.
He's due in court Wednesday, Oct. 7.
