Complaint: 18-year-old fatally shot father during dispute near 11th and Atkinson

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An 18-year-old has been charged in a shooting that left a 47-year-old dead near 11th and Atkinson. 

Corey Williams is facing one count of second-degree reckless homicide, use of a dangerous weapon. 

According to a criminal complaint, the victim is Williams' father. 

The complaint says, Williams told investigators he used to live with his father at the apartment where the shooting happened, but he was kicked out a few weeks ago. 

Williams stated on July 3, he and his mother were at the apartment to pick up his siblings. 

According to the complaint, Williams' father and mother began to argue so he butted in and told his dad to move so they could leave. that's when, the complaint says, Williams' dad "grabbed him by the collar" and began to force him around. 

Williams told officials, while this was happening, his dad was holding a pistol. 

At one point, the complaint says Williams' father forced him onto a recliner chair and then toward a dining room area table. 

Investigators say Williams then got ahold of the pistol and admitted to shooting his dad several times.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 47-year-old Wednesday, July 2, around 2:40 p.m. 

The shooting happened near 11th and W. Atkinson Ave. MPD states it's domestic violence related. 

Law enforcement is looking for a known suspect.
