Family says man was working as delivery driver when he was fatally shot near 27th and Fond du Lac

Family of Darien Ballard MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 34-year-old man was killed early Tuesday, Oct. 14, near 27th and Fond du Lac, according to Milwaukee police.
Officials say the shooting happened around 2 a.m. The victim, identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office as Darien Ballard of Milwaukee, was struck by gunfire and died from his injuries.
Family gathered to remember him Tuesday night. They tell us the shooting happened while Darien was working as a delivery driver for the restaurant Fryerz.
