MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say criminal charges will be referred against a 25-year-old woman accused of stealing a car with a 5-year-old child inside.

Officials say the abduction happened around 10:15 p.m. near 85th and Congress Monday, Sept. 21. 

Police arrested the suspect Tuesday near 41st and Lloyd. 

Authorities say the child was unharmed. An investigation is ongoing.

Charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
