MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- With the Milwaukee Brewers making their postseason run, the Gingerbread House in Muskego has made Brewers-inspired treats. CBS 58's Alex Corradetti chatted with Tracy Bohrer, owner of The Gingerbread House, to share more about the goodies.

Bohrer says her love for the Brewers goes back to 1982, when the team made its first World Series appearance. She was just 17 years old at the time and remembers the excitement surrounding the team's historic run.

"I was actually part of the parade; I was downtown for another event. And just to see all the hoopla, it was just amazing, all the energy, and I can't wait for that energy again," Bohrer said.

Now, she's turning that lifelong passion into something sweet, with Brewers-themed treats showcasing the team's signature blue and gold colors.

"You can't help but like bleed blue and gold and be so proud of our Brewers," Bohrer said. "Our players are so involved and so great with the community and just so great playing as a team. It's something I feel like as a business owner that I am so proud of."

Bohrer, who is also a Brewers season ticket holder, says her bakery team has been hard at work creating the special treats during the National League Championship Series.

She's hoping the Brewers can go all the way, giving fans another reason to celebrate, and perhaps something even sweeter to look forward to.

You can find Brewers treats at The Gingerbread House in Muskego at S63W16147 College Ave.
