Details announced for the 10th annual Mayor’s Masked Ball fundraiser
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Neighbors came together Monday night to learn more about a project in Milwaukee's 5th district.
The developer, Dr. Saint One, wants to turn a building near 90th and Burleigh into a multi-use space, including a hostel, cafe, medical practice, and co-working space.
Alderwoman Nikiya Dodd says the project is getting a lot of attention.
Her advice to the developer is to listen to neighbors and take their concerns into consideration.
"If he listened to the people and what they're saying in the room, they really want a coffee shop," Ald. Dodd said. "They really want something they can meet their neighbors, community members, and just sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee."
This was the second open house so far.
The developer answered our questions about the hostel last week.
Neighbors also weighed in on the proposal.
