New Berlin Public Library’s viral video promotes free access to resources

NEW BERLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The New Berlin Public Library is gaining national attention after posting a humorous video on Instagram on Friday, Oct. 3. The post has since been liked more than 500,000 times and sparked thousands of comments.
In the clip, a staff member performs a "trust fall" while the colleague set to catch her steps aside just as the fall begins, turning to the camera to deliver the library’s message. All in good fun, of course.
"You can’t trust everybody, but you can trust the New Berlin Public Library, to give you access, for free, to hundreds of books, great programming and resources."
The clip ends with a funny dramatized look at a "trust fall" gone wrong!
The lighthearted post has become a sensation online, with nearly 500,000 likes and more than 9,000 comments as of Tuesday, Oct. 7.
