Berrada Properties ordered by DOJ to pay $1.7 million in settlement
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A food hall and market is expected to open in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood.
New Land Enterprises says the market, Flour and Feed, will be located on the ground level of the Kinetik Apartments near Kinnickinnic Ave and Bay St. It will feature both food and retail vendors.
"The idea is if you want to do a small business, truly a small business, to be able to find a really small space with good traffic and exposure that's affordable is next to impossible, so we create that ability," New Land Enterprises director Tim Gokhman said.
The complex will have 140 apartments and is expected to be complete in May 2020.
Flour and Feed will also have “flex space” which the developer says can be used for cooking classes, live music and other community events.
New Land Enterprises also opened the Crossroads Collective food hall on Milwaukee’s east side.
