Racine community mourns teen killed in car crash
NEENAH, Wis. (CBS 58) -- New information has been released regarding the 130-vehicle pileup in Neenah.
The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office released the latest numbers.
The crash happened February 24 in Neenah.
Authorities say there were 232 people involved, 119 vehicles, and 71 patients.
30-year-old Andrew Schefelker of Oshkosh was the lone person killed in the crash.
The highway was closed for 15 hours as dozens of crews worked in whiteout conditions with a 10 degree windchill and gusts up to 50 mph.
Officials said an estimated 800 to 1,000 vehicles were stuck on the interstate behind the crash.
This was the largest crash in state history.
