WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An altercation with a wedding DJ over the weekend has the not-so-happy couple wanting an apology and a refund.

Bonny and Luke Schlosser held their wedding reception at Tuscan Hall in Waukesha.

When the best man finished his speech, he dropped the microphone on the table. Luke says it was a couple inches from the table.

The couple says the DJ charged up to them swearing at them about how expensive the microphone was.

Then another guest let the microphone fall to the floor.

Video shows the DJ swiping violently at the glassware on the table.

In response, a guest runs at the DJ and punches him in the back of the head.

The Schlossers say the altercation was one of many problems with their wedding day, along with some promises of Tuscan Hall’s event staff not being kept.

Tuscan Hall’s owner, Nicko Sifnaios, believes both sides were at fault for the altercation.

“I didn’t get to where I’m at [by] making brides and grooms unhappy,” he said. “This hurts me. This pains me.”

The DJ, who has since been fired, worked for a company Tuscan Hall recommended.

Sifnaios says he’s never had a problem with the company before.

That’s not good enough for the Schlossers.

“You work with this company,” Bonny Schlosser said. “You know what you’re doing. I trust you.”

Luke Schlosser says they’ve heard Tuscan Hall is an amazing venue.

“This was that one time that it wasn’t,” he said.

The couple now wants their money back from the DJ company and the venue.

“We deeply regret this whole situation but we don’t feel like we were at fault here,” Sifnaios said.

Sifnaios says he paid for a new DJ to come in after the incident, and the Schlossers continued trying to enjoy their wedding, because, they say, what other choice did they have?

Police were called to the venue after the brawl, but no one involved chose to press charges.
