NEXT:

Most of November was warm right up until the last few days of the month. The month started with mild air and even highs in the upper 60s but ended with highs in the 20s and lows in the teens. When you take the average temperature of 44.7 degrees it was 4.3 degrees above average and goes down in the records as the 9th warmest on record!

We did ok on snowfall during the month of November as well. Most of the snow came during the third week of the month then we saw a little measurable snow the last few days of the month around Thanksgiving all adding up to 3.1" of snowfall which is over a half inch above the average and more than November, 2023 and goes down as the 39th most snowy November on record.

In addition to the above average snowfall, we also had above average rainfall. The monthly precipitation topped out just under 3" which is above the average of 2.24" and more precipitation than last November. It goes down as the 31st wettest November on record.

Now we turn the calendar into December when we start to get into the thick of winter. Average highs in December drop from around 40 at the start of the month to the low 30s by the end of the month. Average lows go from the upper 20s to the upper teens. The month averages 1.44" of precipitation which mostly falls in the form of snow with over 10" of snow on average - the third snowiest month of the year, on average. The winter solstice happens December 21st at 3:19 AM.
