Oak Creek PD: Vehicle stolen out of Kwik Trip parking lot with 2 kids inside

OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Oak Creek Police Department responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Sunday, Feb. 4. 

It happened around 11:24 p.m., at a Kwik Trip near 27th and College Ave. 

According to police, upon arrival, it was discovered that the victim's vehicle was stolen with their two juvenile children still inside. Shortly after fleeing the scene, the stolen vehicle was located and abandoned with the victim's children inside, unharmed. 

Detectives in this case do have person of interest in custody, according to police.
