MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- CBS 58 is on Milwaukee's south side where an apparent street takeover occurred Sunday night, June 7.
A large crowd could be seen at the intersection of 12th and Mitchell, with cars revving up their engines and people dancing to music in the streets.
CBS 58 spoke to some of the participants who said that they came from a festival two miles south.
Police have given limited information but were seen blocking off multiple streets in the area.
CBS 58 is keeping an eye on the scene and will update with more information as it becomes available.
