Halloween is right around the corner and that means there will be plenty of trick-or-treaters around this weekend. Most communities host trick-or-treating on Saturday or Sunday and unfortunately there's one hiccup in the forecast.
The rain chance for Saturday has really increase over the past 48 hours. Showers now look likely as early as the late afternoon lasting through the evening and the early part of Sunday morning.
The best chance for rain is in our southeast spots like Lake Geneva, Pleasant Prairie, Kenosha and Racine, but all of southeast Wisconsin has a chance. Expect some of the higher rain totals in those areas when rain is most likely. In general, rain totals will range from a quarter to half inch.
A few showers may still be lingering before sunrise on Sunday but we should dry out and clear out pretty nicely for Sunday afternoon. When it comes to temps, it's not bad at all. Both Saturday and Sunday see highs in the middle 50s very close to average.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to see the Halloween forecast which is definitely not as nice.
