If you haven't enjoyed this past week of heat and humidity, you only have to endure one more day of it. Temps warm into the mid 80s lakeside and upper 80s inland today under a mix of sun and clouds.
A few isolated showers have held together overnight and will pass through parts of SE WI early this morning. Tons of dry time is expected the second half of the morning through the afternoon, but isolated showers and storms look to redevelop later this evening into Monday morning.
Isolated showers and storms continue for a good chunk of Monday morning with mainly dry conditions in the afternoon. A more organized area of low pressure will be developing to our west, creating a widespread swath of rain across central WI Monday afternoon. This will gradually push southward Monday evening into Tuesday morning through SE WI.
Additionally, clusters of strong to severe storms will be possible Monday evening. The best chance is near the IL border and away from the lake where there's a level 2, Slight Risk, in place.
Once the rain wraps up Tuesday morning we'll be mainly dry for several days. With a northeast wind expected most of the week, highs will only be in the mid 70s with no real humidity.
