MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting on the city's north side.
According to police, officers responded to a double shooting at Express Gas station on N. 36th St. and W. Vliet St. around 1:41 a.m. on Friday.
An investigation showed that the victims were in a vehicle parked near the gas pumps. The driver, a 38-year-old man, and the passenger, a 32-year-old man, were from Milwaukee.
A black male suspect, wearing a black sweater jacket and blue jeans, than approached the vehicle from the south. He got in the backseat behind the driver. After several minutes, the suspect fled northbound from the vehicle.
The 38-year-old suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound, and the 32-year-old was fatally wounded.
The circumstances and motive for the incident is pending further investigation.
