MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department says one person is dead and another arrested following a two-vehicle crash in downtown Milwaukee on Sat. Jun. 7

The Milwaukee Medical Examiner's Office says they were called to the scene at 6th and State Street at around 6:15 a.m.  

Police say that is where a 20-year-old driver traveling westbound on State Street, collided with a second vehicle, driven by a 30-year-old.

That 30-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 

MPD say they arrested the 20-year-old driver of the other vehicle as the investigation remains ongoing. 

Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
