MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- On Saturday morning, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the identities of the two victims as 20-year-old Noah Snyder from Getzville, New York and 19-year-old Scott Michaud from Springboro, Ohio.

According to the Marquette University lacrosse roster, the two played for the school.

This afternoon, a mass will commence in remembrance of the two students for the Marquette community to attend at 1PM at the school's Varsity Theatre at 1 p.m.

Marquette also wants to remind the Marquette community and family that space is available at the Alumni Memorial Union's Lunda Room and Henke Lounge from noon until 3 p.m.

The university also wishes to remind faculty, staff, and students alike that counseling services, pastoral support from campus ministry, and other resources are available for those coping with feelings of grief, loss and shock by calling (414) 288-7172. They are available 24 hours day, seven days a week. 


MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two people are dead following a collision at the intersection of N. 27th St. and W. St. Paul Ave. today, Sept. 5. 

A 41-year-old driver collided into another vehicle carrying six people. Two of the six passengers, a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old, died from their injuries on the scene. The other four passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were treated on scene by medical personnel or at a local hospital. 

In a statement from Marquette University, the two people killed in the crash were Marquette students. Two other students were injured in the crash and are being treated at a hospital. 

The names of the students involved will not be released at this time. 

Marquette University will be holding a Mass tomorrow, Sept. 6, at 1 p.m. at the Varsity Theatre. Community members are able to come together from noon to 3 p.m. at the Lunda Room and Henke Lounge in the Alumni Memorial Union. 

The 41-year-old has been taken into custody. 

Milwaukee police is investigating the crash and criminal charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
