One person killed in Milwaukee hotel fire

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department confirms one person is dead following a fire at a Milwaukee hotel.

It happened early morning on Sat. Nov. 16th, at the Norwood Inn & Suites near Lovers Lane and Silver Spring Dr.

The Milwaukee Medical Examiner's Office confirms they were called to the scene shortly after 6:00 a.m. 

While on scene, CBS 58 crews noticed a window being boarded up, with a worker telling us that is where they believe the fire occurred.

Milwaukee Fire officials say there were no other injuries reported, and the fire is still under investigation.
