Opioid prevention plan saves 24 lives in Waukesha County

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) – Officials in Waukesha County say two dozen lives were saved in the first year of their opioid prevention plan.

The County conducted 162 overdose education training sessions for nearly 2,000 people.

More than 1,800 NARCAN kits have been distributed.

The County’s plan includes education, training, and outreach on the opioid crisis.
