MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee County homeowner found a flock of plastic flamingos in his yard after work Tuesday.
No, it wasn't a prank -- it was for a good cause.
Nora Cowap is taking part in this summer's Scenic River Bike Tour for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Participants raise money for cancer research in the weeks and months before the race.
Not one for traditional fundraisers, Tasha and her daughter Nora got creative.
"People donate to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society directly and after that they let us know they donated and who they would like the flamingos to migrate to," organizer Tasha laughed.
The fundraiser seems to be gaining traction.
Tasha says they have seven yards to "flock" in the next week.
