MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place Monday, July 8 shortly after 11:45 p.m. around 60th and Bradley. 

The victim sustained fatal gunshot injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene despite life saving measures. 

The 29-year-old suspect was taken into custody around 4 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9.

Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
