KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The VFW Auxiliary Post 1865 in Kenosha has partnered with Boucher Auto Group for the Pack the Pick-Up event, collecting non-perishable foods for Ground Zero Veterans Outreach.
Jim Martin, senior vice president of VFW Auxiliary Post 1865, joined us on Tuesday, May 28 to discuss the program.
The VFW Auxiliary and Boucher Auto Group will collect non-perishable food items and more throughout June for Ground Zero Veterans Outreach in Union Grove.
Donations that are being sought include all personal hygiene products, with the exception of toothbrushes and toothpaste, hand lotions, sunscreens, cleaning supplies, all canned goods, canned meals, boxed items, powdered milk, cereal, oatmeal, canned and jarred fruit, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, snacks, cookies, as well as coffee, tea and powdered drinks.
All items can be dropped off at any Boucher Auto Group dealership, a list of which can be found below:
