Packers fans don't hold back when reacting to the end of the 2022 season
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Green Bay Packers 2022 season ended without a playoff run.
On Jan. 9, the morning after the team's loss to the Detroit Lions, CBS 58 caught up with some disgruntled fans to see what they thought of the game.
"I thought it was disgusting, terribly coached, and pissed away by a bunch of rookies," said Drew.
Packers fan, Drew, was heading into the Wisconsin Athletic Club to work out Monday morning, and maybe let off a little more steam than usual.
"I'm playing the whole game through my head right now, just angry. For some reason we can't finish in the red zone this year at all. Period," he said.
Other fans shared in his disappointment about the outcome of the game, but some are already looking towards next year.
"I don't think, here in Wisconsin, you can give up on the team just after a loss like that so it's all good," said Dustin Ashley.
And fans didn't pack away their Packers gear just because of a bad season.
Lance Meyer was wearing layers of Packers clothes-- scarf, jacket and coat.
"Packer fan for life, regardless of situation, circumstances, A die harder," said Meyer. "I still love my Pack even when things are a little tough."
But it was a confusing season for many fans.
"We were given false hope after that dominating win over the Vikings and it just sort of fell apart," said Peter Diotte.
"They ripped off those four wins and I thought, 'OK, we put ourselves in the position to win and we're in, lets see what happens.' They just couldn't get it done," said Will Dougherty.
With the team officially knocked out of the playoffs, fans know where the team will be today.
"Just like I have to work today. The Packers will be going back to work today," said Drew.
