MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --Saturday night ended in a big disappointment for Packers fans with the loss against the 49ers in the divisional round, eliminating them from the playoffs.

"They had it together. it was such a brilliant start but then they just lost it at the end, and it was just a horrible thing to watch. It was horrible, horrible, terrible," said Douglas Dobberfuhl, a Packer fan.

It’s a somber day for Packers fans across the state after the big loss against the 49ers.

"We just came up short, it was sad. They gave it all they had. I didn't know how we were going to do last night. 49ers were a great team, but you know, we gave it all we had," said Drew Fortune, a Packer fan.

Despite the loss, Packers fans say they are happy with how the season played out, especially with all the new changes the team faced. Many were not sure how the season would go.

"We started out a little slow and people were worried about Love, but he came on strong at the end and I'm proud of him. I think he's our guy going forward, and I love him," said Fortune.

"I think everybody in Wisconsin, Jacks included, was very shocked to see how well that they played this year. I don't think that we were expecting them to be as good as they were or even make it to the playoffs," said Emily Ho-Abegglen, director of marketing of Jack's American Pub.

Ho-Abegglen says this season proved to be great for the sports bar business wise.

"As the season progressed, it got busier and busier. People were really excited to see this team play and it's a young team," said Ho-Abegglen.

Jacks American Pub offers coach buses to and from Lambeau Field for the home games which Ho-Abegglen says will likely take off more next year after seeing how this season unfolded.

CBS 58 also asked if Jacks would bring back the deal they had offered at the beginning of the season where they offered to pay their costumers tab if the New York Jets lost any game Aaron Rodgers starts.

"It got a lot of traction, and it would be good to see people root on former Packers players so hopefully we bring it back next year," said Ho-Abegglen.

Although we won't see the green and gold in the Super Bowl this year, many have a positive outlook on the future of the team.

"I think Jordan Love did an awesome job this season. He had a little rough start, but he really proved himself at the end and I can't wait to see what he does next year, especially with all the young talent that's been acquired too," said Dobberfuhl.
