Packers place Nick Perry on injured reserve

Green Bay Packers linebacker Nick Perry is heading to the injured reserved list, effectively ending his season. Perry suffered a knee injury in the Week 10 game against the Miami Dolphins.

To take Perry's spot on the active roster, the Packers signed defensive lineman James Looney from the practice squad. Looney is a rookie from the University of California who was drafted in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Perry recorded 1.5 sacks and 24 combined tackles in 2018 as a linebacker. In 2016, he had 11 sacks and 52 combined tackles.
