CBS 58

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has cleared protocol following a concussion, but it's been announced he will not start in the game against the Minnesota Vikings Sunday, Jan. 4.

Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur confirmed quarterback Clayton Tune will start Sunday's game.

Love could serve as the backup quarterback as the Packers are still dealing with an injury to Malik Willis and Desmond Ridder was just signed this week.

The Pack is currently mired in a three-game losing streak and will be the 7 seed in the NFC playoffs no matter what happens in Minnesota.

The Packers and Vikings finish the regular season against each other for the first time in 10 years and in Minnesota for the first time since 2012. The Packers 66 regular season wins over Minnesota are the most by any team against the Vikings.

The Packers vs. Vikings game kicks off Sunday at Noon. Catch the game on CBS 58.
