Packers sign WR Malik Taylor

The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Malik Taylor. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Friday.

Taylor, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound rookie out of Ferris State University, spent some time with the Tampa Buccaneers in May. Even though he missed out on most of his senior season due to injury, he finished his collegiate career with 121 receptions for 2,091 yards (17.3 avg.), the seventh most receiving yards in school history. In 2017, Taylor earned all-conference honors after registering a team-high 61 receptions for 906 yards (14.9 avg.) and six touchdowns. He also returned eight kicks for 154 yards (19.3 avg.) as a junior. Taylor will wear No. 86 for the Packers.
