Patchy frost possible away from the lake tonight
It's been another very windy day across southeast Wisconsin with gusts between 25-40 mph.
The gusty winds subside after sunset and will remain around 5-15 mph overnight with the lightest wind away from the lake. Clear skies and light winds will allow for temps to drop into the mid to upper 30s away from the lake tonight, which could lead to patchy frost.
A better chance for widespread frost is across the central and northern parts of the state where Frost Advisories have been issued.
Cover up your gardens tonight if you want a few more days of growth. Temperatures will warm back into the 70s this week with a run at 80° on Friday.
It'll be a mainly sunny week as well with high pressure firmly in control. There's no chance of rain for a week.
