MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two-time Peabody Award-winning comedian Hasan Minhaj is scheduled to perform at Milwaukee's Riverside Theater.

The performance will take place Friday, Sept. 22, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the show starting at 8 p.m.

Minhaj gained fame for his Netflix special "Homecoming King" and his political satire show "Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj," which also won an Emmy and a Television Academy honor.

Accolades for the comedian include headlining the 2017 White House Correspondents' Dinner and serving as a senior correspondent on Comedy Central’s "The Daily Show."

Minhaj released his second one-hour comedy special "The King’s Jester" on Netflix in Oct. 2022 and is the co-founder and CEO of 186K Films.
