We Energies: No injuries, no impact to operations after fire at Valley Power Plant

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A fire broke out on part of the roof at We Energies' Valley Power Plant early Tuesday, Sept. 15, according to a statement from the company.
The fire was reported around 2 a.m. near the plant on Canal Street, close to I-43, and drew a large response from the Milwaukee Fire Department. We Energies said no one was injured and plant operations were not affected.
"We appreciate the quick response of the Milwaukee Fire Department," the company said in its statement.
