Pedestrian dead after being struck by vehicle in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON, Wis. - A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Jefferson County Thursday, Nov. 14.  

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Johnson Creek Fire Department arrived at the scene in the N6300 block of Coffee Rd. in the Town of Farmington to perform life saving measures. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.  

The driver was not injured.  

The preliminary investigation of the scene showed that the vehicle was traveling northbound when it struck the pedestrian crossing the road.  

The Jefferson County Sherriff’s Office is still investigating the incident. The driver is cooperating with the investigation.
