Pepperidge Farm voluntarily recalling four varieties of Goldfish crackers due to Salmonella concerns
NORWALK, Conn. (CBS 58) -- Pepperidge Farm is voluntarily recalling four varieties of its Goldfish crackers after the company says it was notified by an ingredient supplier about the potential presence of Salmonella.
Pepperidge Farm says a whey powder used in a seasoning applied to four varieties of crackers was recalled and after an investigation, the company decided to recall the products as a precaution.
The products were distributed throughout the United States. No illnesses have been reported. No other Pepperidge Farm products in the U.S. are subject to this recall.
