MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- We can now confirm the multiple body parts that have been found throughout the Milwaukee area over the past two weeks all belong to the same woman-- that's according to multiple law enforcement sources with knowledge of the case.
Thirty-three-year-old Maxwell Anderson was taken into custody last week after a severed leg was found near the lake in Cudahy.
Since that discovery, more body parts have been found in three separate locations.
At this time, our sources have not said the race of the female the body parts belong to, and law enforcement agencies have not said anything publicly about who the victim is.
Our law enforcement sources also confirm Maxwell Anderson had a "sex dungeon" in his home on S. 39th in Milwaukee.
That is the home state investigators searched last week, taking out bags of evidence.
Anderson has not yet been charged with any crime. He is still being held in custody for probable cause, and a court's deadline to charge him or release him will expire Friday morning.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A person of interest in connection to a severed leg found in Cudahy appeared in court Tuesday, April 9.
Maxwell Anderson made his first appearance in court after law enforcement submitted a probable cause statement for his arrest.
The Milwaukee County district attorney asked the judge to hold Anderson for 72 more hours so they could review evidence collected by the Milwaukee Police Department -- specifically, blood found at Anderson's home.
The DA's office went on to say more evidence has been gathered since Anderson's arrest.
"Since that statement was made, there have been additional human body remains recovered that is also going to be tested," said Ian Vance-Curzan, Milwaukee County district attorney.
Anderson appeared in Milwaukee County court Tuesday morning.
Court officials told CBS 58 Anderson was taken into custody last week in connection to a severed leg found in Cudahy near Warnimont Park.
Anderson's duplex was also searched by state investigators last week Thursday.
In court Tuesday, the state said they found blood in Anderson's home.
In a statement sent to CBS 58 last week Wednesday, a Milwaukee County sheriff spokesperson said, with finding the human leg, their "investigation continues and gains steam."
Since that statement, there have been three straight days of new body parts found across Milwaukee County.
Friday, investigators found a body part near 30th and Lisbon.
Saturday, unidentified human remains were discovered near 31st and Galena.
Sunday, near 30th and Galena MPD confirmed more human remains were found.
Investigators have not said if Anderson is connected to these three findings.
The state wants Anderson to remain in custody while they wait for the blood testing to finish, but Anderson's defense attorney argues that's not necessary.
"He's been arrested now, going on over four days, on nothing more than a written submission to the courts indicating that he supposedly had contact with a missing person - and there is some cell tower suspicion that he continues to remain detained," said Anderson's attorney, Anthony Cotton.
At this time, Anderson has not been charged with any crimes.
