PEWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha County District Attorney's office is filing charges against 52-year-old Amy Laszkiewicz of Pewaukee who is accused of starving her 23-year-old daughter to death.

Deputies responded to the scene, a condominium in Pewaukee, on Wednesday, Jan. 4 after receiving a call from Laszkiewicz reporting her daughter's death.

If convicted, Laszkiewicz may face a fine not exceeding $100,000 or imprisonment not more than 40 years, or both.
